Unlike some of their Asian counterparts, there are few Vietnamese restaurants in Bergen, but what’s here is top notch. Try the Hanoi crabmeat soup or barbecued ribs with lemongrass. Don’t miss the sautéed edamame or the crispy tofu.

The Tenafly NJ Chamber of Commerce and Tenafly honored the Tenafly winners of the 201 Best of Bergen
More than 10,000 people voted to select Simply Vietnamese as the Best Vietnamese Restaurant and Best Gluten-free Cuisine in Bergen County 2015.
Mayor Peter Rustin, and Councilmen Daniel Park and Mark Zinna, the council liaison to the chamber, were on hand to honor the winners.
Run by the owner of the much-loved (and now defunct) Saigon R in Englewood, Simply Vietnamese leads the charge into a realm of bold flavors too seldom savored in our area. Serving dishes like bo luc lac and aromatic duck alongside barbecue ribs with lemongrass and fried bananas with ice cream, this place offers something for the adventurous and timid diner alike.
